Sunrise is currently seeking a highly skilled Garden Visit Crew Leader. Ornamental horticulture experience and plant knowledge is required. Fundamental experience and knowledge must include the ability to identify plant species as well as plant health and disease issues.
In addition to supervising a crew, managing quality control, and handling onsite customer relations, duties will include plant and bed care, observing the landscape for issues and enhancements. This is a hands on supervisory postion.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Passionate about gardening and being outdoors
- Detail Oriented, Self Motivated, and Energetic
- Certified through VA to apply pesticides OR have the ability to pass the exam (offered in English only)
- Degree in horticulture or related field OR have equivalent professional experience
- Bilingual:English/Spanish is a plus
- A licensed driver with an insurable driving record
- Experienced with the safe operation of equipment, tools, and vehicles
